is there a problem with Windows 7 and the software?

I only just downloaded the program yesterday and have only just been trying out some of the tools, making random patterns and alphabets, in order to get familiar with the program. But windows 7 says it encounters a problem and then shuts it down after only about 5 mins of use. Another problem I encounter is that the copy/paste function will only work once in a session. Of course at that point it shuts down completely.
Has anyone else encountered this problem with Windows 7? Are there any settings I need to change in order for the program to work?
thank you Keiji for writing this program. I just wish it would work with my computer OS. :-(

Thank you for trying to use KG-Chart.
It should work fine on Windows 7, so it sounds strange to have that many problems...
I have some question.
  • Do you do any particular operations you use a lot when you get error?
  • Is your OS English version?
  • Is your display driver up to date?

Answers to your questions:
- I haven't done a lot of operations yet, so I don't know if there is a "constant" that might trigger the shut down. At this point, however, it seems to be tied to the copy/paste function. As soon as I get a chance to work with the program for longer amount of time, I will see if there is any one particular operation that causes the program to shut down.
- my OS is English version Windows 7 Home Premium
- yes, my display driver is up to date

One thing I did the other day was set the "compatibiliy" mode of the program to Windows XP (SP3). This has seemed to help lessen the crashes. However KG-Chart did crash again this morning. :-(
